Elevate Your Practice

Tips for success :

  • Start Small. If you’ve never applied for a grant before, start small. The more qualified you are, the more likely you are to get funding.

  • Funders like to see growth. If they can see you’ve received a small grant and used it effectively, they will feel comfortable giving you more next time.

  • Don’t get discouraged! Every grant written is a chance to think big, to set goals, to envision your future projects. Even if you don’t land the funding, you’ll have a well though out plan for the future.

  • Be realistic. If you know your goals are a stretch beyond your own capacity, they probably will see it too. Take your career step by step. Don’t ask for more money than you need

Which grant will you apply for?

Note: This is not a complete list of all available grants- no way! There’s an infinite amount of grants, residencies and funding sources to explore. This list is a compilation of commonly useful grants for individual artists
